Well "fans" i have to admit i have become a little slow to post these days. That darn baby really puts a damper on my typing time... Of course The Belles are still reading and casting just as much as always; I am the one to blame for not getting our thoughts out to the world.
For the month of May we went back to one of our old faithfuls; Emily Giffin. We were fortunate enough to attend her book signing in Atlanta; and EG delivered with a fun filled evening. Luckily this time my book remained unscathed from evil drawings, but that is another story for another time...
Heart of the Matter. As a group we enjoyed the book; granted we still all prefer "Love the One You're With”; however, that has a lot to do with the fact that it is based in Atlanta. The book definitely sparked deep conversation. I am still rooted in the "don't ask, don't tell" category; while the others have formed "operation douche bag" to make sure any suspect behavior is reported.
Now on to the important stuff, the cast. We put a ton of thought into it and i think we have pulled it off. Some of us (who shall remain nameless, cough cough ME) really want more of an oddly attractive blonde (Rachel McAdams) in the roll of Tessa, but the juxtaposition of who we have cast as Valerie makes it work.
So Hollywood, we know you are just DYING to know who we chose:
